Printmaking is the process of creating original works of art by transferring ink or paint from a matrix or through a prepared screen to a sheet of paper, fabric or other material using hand pressure or a press. Conceived by Denise Kraemer, an exhibit of works by prominent, female printmakers from inland Southern California debuted in 2016 at the Fallbrook Library and travelled to the Progress Gallery in the Pomona Arts Colony in early 2017. We are pleased to bring the works of these Impressive Women to CCMA, Ann Bingham-Freeman, Leslie A. Brown, Tammy Greenwood, Jan Harvey, Karen Ruth Karlsson, Denise Kraemer, , Lisabeth Mertins, Donna Morin and Froukje Schaafsma-Smith.
